Tifamade

We love this from Tifamade – sandwiches and cakes on two wheels. Tiffany Iung started delivering sandwiches in and around Paris in 2010 when she was looking for a way to combine her two passions: feeding people and riding her bike.

about-tifa

It’s homemade food with ingredients carefully chosen from the farmer’s market, all wrapped up in ecological packaging. The sandwiches and cakes are presented in a lovely old suitcase, which is very cute indeed.

Peggy Porschen’s Boutique Bakery

We’ve admired Peggy Porschen’s cakes from afar for quite some time, so we were delighted when a visit (or three!) to her Belgravia parlour didn’t disappoint. Open daily, this boutique bakery serves a freshly-baked ‘ready to eat’ collection of cupcakes, layer cakes and coveted confections. Everything we sampled was delicious but the Strawberry and Champagne cupcake was a hands-down winner. Worth checking out next time you’re in London.
